Achievements in Teaching:
Being part of National Conservatory since 1998, teaching Classical Piano, I've helped thousands of Lebanese (and not only) young musicians to find their way in music. I've developed current jazz program and opened the Jazz Department in 2005. Since then I had hundreds of students studying jazz. Some of them studied seriously, some of them not. Some of them showed up to use the fact that they studied with me only to fill their biographies; some of them learned how to play but pretend now that we never met; some of them didn't expect that jazz music requires huge work, practice and seriousity, just as classical music, and they stopped after few month; some of them were my classical students and got into jazz, some of them continued and some of them stopped. Some cats were so good and they were invited to join my bands and nowadays they are my colleagues. Some of them didn't have this chance of playing with me, but they found or will find their way !!!
I wanna THANK each and every one of YOU guys for spreading good music and word about my teaching, and instead of writing how or what I’ve done, I will write few dozen of your names (according to conservatory's archives and mine), who made it with my help, studying (Jazz or Classical ... one, two, three or eight years) at the conservatory or private, or workshops, or listening, or questioning, or playing with me - either way, but having that guidance from me, that have changed your lives and your vision in music, making some of you really good Jazz or Classical musicians and helping you turn into being different than before - stepping into another phase of your musical live.
