* Bands & Projects:
- - With contrabassist Jack
Gregg and drummer Steve Phillips trio "Three Wheel Drive".
Three expatriates (US and Armenia) who choose to live in Lebanon they have
7 years of playing together and many songs behind them.
Since, they have made a unique
place for themselves in the Beirut Music World by being unclassifiable and
incorruptible. You can hire them but you can not buy them. 'Visiting
Jazz Greats like Larry Coryell,
Charles Davis,
Melissa Walker,
Joe Lee Wilson and
Tex Allen play with "Three
Wheel Drive" and go back to New York to spread
the word among musicians that there was a World Class rhythm section in
Lebanon.' - LebJAZZ.NET
- - "Perfect
Match" or
"Blue Note Cafe Band". Revolutionary band, which first started major
changes in Lebanon's jazz music scene. Arthur's re-arranged
standards "One by one" by Wayne Shorter, "Freedom Jazz Dance" by Eddie
Harris, "Mambo Influenciado" by "Chucho" Valdes and Gershwin's
"Summertime" not only became a Lebanese favorite Jazz Anthems, but also
has raised eyebrows among visiting stars like Larry
Coryell,
Alphonse Mouzon
and Steve Potts.
- - "A.S.T. - Arthur Satyan
Trio" performing original compositions and arrangements. Mixture of
Latin and modern-funk rhythms reflects the land where streets and homes
switch from Miles Davis to Joe Zawinul, from Komitas to Wayne Shorter and
Arthur Satyan.
